Happy New Year!
This New Year is starting off to an unusual one. It is the first year in the last 13 years I have not spent with my husband. So, I am missing him. I am away visiting family. Everyone was fast asleep well before the New Year. So, I decided to research slip stitch patterns. I am planning a scarf design in multiple colors using slipped stitches to bring the New Year in. I have no name for it yet. Please, check back soon for a pictures and a pattern! I plan offereing a few free patterns on my blog. Or as many as time permits. I love seeing the New Year in. I hope this New Year brings everyone lots of love, health and prosperity! I hope it brings my knitting friends more time for their passion of knitting. I haven’t made any resolutions yet. I am pondering a few unconventional resolutions. Not the typical one you would normally hear. I am going to sleep on them tonight before declaring them. I hate making resolutions and not being able to keep them. So, I haven’t made one in years. I just might this year though. Maybe it is time! What is it with resolutions anyway? Why do people feel compelled to make them anyway. I am a numbers person at times. I would like to see some statistics on resolutions. Aha… Maybe I will research that tomorrow.I’ll let ya know what I find out. ‘Till then Happy New Year! Night Ya’ll. Oh before I go… We’re supposed to get some snowfall tonight. Please, pray for some snow. We had around an inch or so last night and it all melted today. My daughter was in her glory this morning. The girls all got out the sleds and spent a good 3 to 4 hours sledding until it was starting to melt. I love watching her when she is unaware that I am watching. I love seeing the joy in her face that such simple things in life can bring. I am so glad she is having a great time with her cousin’s on our visit. The mountain my sister lives on made for great sledding. I was afraid she would not get to see snow this year since we moved to the south.
