Materials:
Size 6 double points
Stitch marker

Size: made for a 5 yr old.  Size 4/5 child

If you need a smaller size. I suggest dropping to a thinner yarn or using smaller needles to get what you need or keeping an even number of stitches because of the ribbing try a few less stitches.. Also you might only want to knit 10 inches in between you ribbing.  If you need a larger up your yarn thickness and go to a larger needle. Also here you may want to add diameter so try casting on more stitches keeping it an even number for the ribbing. Again this time you may want more length between the ribbing. 

Yarn:
Noro Kujaku or any worsted weight Have fun!
2 skeins of your yarn choice.

Gauge not very imortant with these. Just measure the child according to the yarn recommendations for gauge if usung something other than Kukaku. Since this is my written pattern to fit my little girl you will have to make your own adaptions to size and or yarn choice.

Pattern:
CO 40 sts
Join 2 ends to begin knitting in the round. knit 2 Purl 2 ribbing for 4 inches
After you complete your ribbing start knit in round for 16 inches. You will then need to start Knit 2 Purl 2 ribbing again for 4 more inches. Bind off and weave in ends. Make 2nd the same way for a completed pair.

Pattern Notes: I did not count rows. I just knit until I got my measurement on both leg warmers.
